I'm on a working holiday, so seeing what there is to see. But also working as a freelance web designer.

Tokyo's too big and has too many people. Nagoya's just the right size, and in a great location to explore the surrounding areas! It also allows me to indulge in my hobbies and share what I enjoy with other people.

An apartment would be too lonely. A sharehouse lets us hang out with other people, learn new things, lets us practice Japanese, as well as helping others learn. It works both ways, so it's fun!

From the very start, it's a friendly and very open company. Very welcoming, very open about their contracts, and always willing to answer questions about the area.

So far, going on trips with other housemates. The best memories have been travelling to nearby places and exploring together. It wouldn't have been as fun if there weren't other people to share the memories with. It's still early, so I'm sure there will be many more opportunities.

Even if you've never experienced a sharehouse before, please give it a go! I didn't know what to expect, but am really glad that I chose to do it!
