ーWhat do you do in Japan?

I am on a year-long study abroad program in the Nagoya University of Foreign Studies, majoring in Japanese.

ーWhy did you move into SHN?

I wanted to live with Japanese people during my study abroad program, but my university only had accommodation with other study abroad students. So I searched for somewhere I could live with Japanese people, and I found SHN.

ーWhat are good points of the house?

The share house I live in is really beautiful, new and modern, and has nearly everything I need provided so I did not need to buy many things when I moved to Japan. It is in a safe location and close to a major subway line, so it means I can go nearly anywhere in the city easily.

ーCharm of SHN?

Too many to mention! But I think the most amazing thing about living here is my wonderful housemates. We are all very close - my housemates are like my new family in Japan, and every day is very enjoyable thanks to them. Everyone tries to get along and co-operate with one another. I also have a chance to practice speaking Japanese with my flatmates every day.

ーWhat is your best memory in SHN?

Probably making dinner in the kitchen with my flatmates, and then sitting down and talking for hours while drinking tea.

ーMessage to the new coming SHN friends, please.

First of all, WELCOME! I'm sure you're going to have an AMAZING time in Nagoya and make lots of great memories with your housemates.
